GForce Life Sciences seeks an Engineering Technician for on-site prototyping and testing in Salt Lake City, UT. The role supports engineers and scientists in developing, prototyping, and validating medical devices used for stroke treatment in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities include building prototypes, conducting tests, documenting results, and assisting with process development while complying with GLP standards.

Competenze

• 2+ years technical work experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Two-year technical degree (AA or certification) or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in prototyping, testing, or process development in a regulated/scientific setting.
• Ability to interpret preliminary equipment drawings and specs.
• Experience with bench fixturing and tooling design.
• Experience working with external vendors and managing supplies/services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to quality and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Assist engineers, scientists, and project teams in building, prototyping, and testing medical device products (catheters, guide wires).
• Follow detailed testing, documentation, and data entry instructions; ensure GLP quality compliance.
• Support development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products.
• Create prototypes, assist with design concepts, contribute to process innovation.
• Coordinate with external vendors to source supplies and services as needed.
• Communicate project status and technical information clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Participate in project team meetings and support cross-functional teams.
