Job summary

Bosch St. Joseph Plant in Michigan is seeking a Mechatronics/Electrical Manufacturing Technician to diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic test equipment and to assist with equipment setup.

This role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, safety, and collaboration with maintenance and manufacturing engineers. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Manufacturing Engineering, 1–3 years of industrial experience, and experience with pressure transducers,

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with industrial controls and measurement devices (i.e. pressure transducers, LVDTs and load cells).
• 1–3 years industrial experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent troubleshooting skill and electrical safety knowledge.
• Proactive mindset with strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills.
• Must be able to relate and get along with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose pneumatic & hydraulic test equipment.
• Calibrate and repair pneumatic & hydraulic test equipment.
• Assist operators with set-up of test equipment as needed.
• Build and repair test stand masters.
• Tear down and analysis of test stand failures.
• Review processes on an on-going basis for safety, quality, and production efficiency.
• Identify pneumatic & hydraulic leaks and repair.
• Support assembly manufacturing with troubleshooting and guiding maintenance staff as needed.
• Learn current Vision Systems and Industrial Lighting to help in troubleshooting.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in the Qualification of new test equipment.

Job Description

• Troubleshoot and diagnose pneumatic & hydraulic test equipment
