Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Engineering Technician 4 to support the RTC Test and Engineering Services Contract at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The role requires extensive experience in engineering, specifically in hardware testing and design. Qualifications

• 7 years of applicable experience in engineering, design, or testing of hardware.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician 4 for the RTC Test and Engineering Services (RTES) Contract supporting the Army Division.

Required Qualifications / Skills

• 7 years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design, or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 3 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 4 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area: Commercial and Industrial Electrical.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance (Must be a U.S. Citizen).
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• The technician will be required to provide electrician support for operations in, and around, test stands and fixtures.

• Work as a team member to plan, setup, install, troubleshoot/maintain range electrical and fiber lines.
• Support senior engineers and technicians during test operations on local test ranges as well as CONUS travel missions on other DoD test ranges.
