Qualcomm is seeking an Engineering Technician to collaborate with engineers, optimize equipment use, and support DOE execution, product characterization, and test activities across data center, automotive, and robotics lines.
The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining test benches and equipment, with responsibilities spanning measurements, test plan execution, and inventory management. A minimum of an associate degree and related experience is expected.
As an Engineering Technician, you will frequently collaborate with Engineers across Qualcomm to optimize the utilization of our equipment and components. You will play a key role in the preliminary stages of our technical processes. Engineering Technicians will also be responsible for upkeeping and implementing operations and safety standards in the workplace to ensure all components of our equipment is properly handled. This role will support ATE test hardware through design validation, troubleshooting, and repair across data center, automotive, and robotics product lines. The technician will also provide hands‑on support to test hardware design and PTE teams, including assistance with DOE execution, product characterization, hardware measurements, and necessary modifications.
Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
$22.85 - $34.27 per hour. The pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. Other components include a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants.
