Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Engineer Technician in Training for our Mooresville, IN project. This full-time, on-site role offers on-the-job training while you support field engineers with surveying tasks and layout work.

You will operate total stations and autolevels, maintain equipment, and collaborate with field supervision to complete daily tasks. Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime and travel are needed.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates may have construction experience but it is not required.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation and punctual daily.
• Willingness to travel and work in an OSHA-compliant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field Engineers in operating surveying instruments such as total stations and autolevels.
• Perform construction layout by setting stakes, marks, elevations, and reference points.
• This position includes on-the-job training.
• Maintain survey equipment and support field supervision with ownership and teamwork.
