Job Description

General Responsibilities:

1. Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g., soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel).
2. Communicate with project manager, engineering technicians, client representative, contractor's representative, and others regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection results.
3. Transport material samples with documentation to the laboratory for testing and analysis.
4. Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports for daily transmittal to the Project Manager.
5. Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
6. Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
7. Adhere to strict safety standards.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Under supervision, learn and assist with basic testing and observation duties.
2. Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
3. Communicate information to the Project Manager and discuss data accuracy for submittal.
4. Submit documentation and communicate results as directed.
5. Maintain assigned equipment.
6. Follow safety rules and report safety issues or concerns.
7. Maintain quality standards on all projects.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
