Job summary

Solution One Industries seeks an Engineering Technician III for our Fort Bliss, TX site to support hardware assembly, integration, and testing for R&D prototype work. You will read engineering diagrams, operate test equipment, and help develop electrical schematics and specifications.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate degree with 1 year of relevant experience; active DoD Secret clearance; and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform hardware assembly and integration assignments of varied complexity.
• Construct components and subassemblies; follow diagrams to assemble devices.
• Conduct tests and experiments using test equipment; record and analyze data.
• Extract and compile engineering data from notes and reports; prepare test reports.
• Review designs and develop schematics, drawings, and parts lists.
• Serve as prototype data collector/analyst during testing and assessments.
