Job summary

GVI Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, seeks an Engineering Technician II to join our Newport, RI team. Duties include evaluating and repairing module assemblies, fabricating hose assemblies and tow cables, and mentoring junior technicians in a structured environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related experience, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret level clearance ( Interim Secret clearance acceptable to start).

Qualifications

• High school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate and 1 to 2 years of work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret level clearance. Must have a minimum of a DoD Interim secret level clearance to start in this position.
• Familiar with standard computer operation and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and troubleshoot failed module assemblies to the component level and perform repairs.
• Manufacture array module hose assemblies and/or tow cables in accordance with formal work instructions, using conformed materials and high quality standards.
• Mentor and assist with the training of junior technicians; perform routine and prescribed tasks with supervision as needed.
