Job summary

GVI Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, invites applications for an Engineering Technician II to join our Newport, RI team. Responsibilities include assembling, testing, and repairing components for towed array modules and related hardware in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) with 1–2 years of experience, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High school/vocational school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret level clearance.
• Familiar with standard computer operation and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and troubleshoot failed module assemblies to the component level and perform repairs.
• Manufacture array module hose assemblies and/or tow cables per work instructions.
• Mentor and assist with the training of junior technicians.
• Perform tests and data collection, process data, and identify errors or inconsistencies.
