Job summary

GVI Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking an Engineering Technician I to join our Newport, RI team. The role focuses on repairing and manufacturing components for towed array systems, with emphasis on electrical repair, testing, and data analysis.

Candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and excel with standard computer tools and MS Office. This is an in-person position offering a structured work environment and opportunities to support critical Navy programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Proficiency with standard computer operations and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Repair and production of towed array systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair module assemblies to the component level.
• Manufacture and assemble hose and tow cables with precision.
• Work independently on standardized assignments with guidance as needed.
• Construct components or simple models using standard equipment.
• Conduct tests and experiments with minor modifications.
• Process engineering data and correct inconsistencies.
• Assist in design modifications by compiling data on specs and materials.
• Develop information on operational failures and modifications.
