Job summary

HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding team is seeking a technically capable professional for engineering support. The role involves gathering and formatting technical data, preparing documentation and schematics, and performing calculations to support evaluations.

Requires an Associate’s Degree with related experience; Navy Nuclear Power School graduates and NNS Apprentice School graduates are preferred. On-site work with travel and a strong benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.
• Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data and design changes.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings and schematics.
• Perform detailed calculations and prepare analyses to support evaluations.
