Oatey is seeking an Engineering Technician II in Omaha, NE to assist the design team with new product development and cost-efficient improvements. You will test concepts, build prototypes, and ensure compliance with ISO and industry standards, collaborating across R&D, production, and quality teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing, strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office.

Ready to make an impact in a place where you matter?-**Position Summary**This position is responsible for the assisting the design team with design and development of new products, making improvements to existing products for cost efficiency and reliability, and ensuring that testing and proof of concept activities are completed on time. Responsibilities are focused on testing and validation of new product concepts and designs, in compliance with ISO and other regulatory organizations (IAPMO, ASTM, ICC, NFPA, etc. and any others applicable to the product being developed), focusing on the testing aspects and the building of prototypes. The position will also Interface between the R&D team and the production floor for newly launched mechanical products.
