Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an Engineering Technician I to perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests on current and new product designs under close supervision. You will support continuous improvement and document test results.

The role focuses on following testing procedures, interpreting measurements, and maintaining test reports. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, supporting our lab operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 3 months of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up test equipment and products according to testing procedures.
• Perform tests on prototypes, existing and competitor products for specified criteria.
• Interpret and document measurements such as temperature, pressure, and electrical readings.
• Assist in assembling and fabricating test equipment per drawings.
• Maintain test documentation and prepare formal/informal test reports.
• Support lab audits and 5S program activities.
