Akima LLC is seeking engineering technician services to support FAA/FAALC divisions. Responsibilities include assembling, repairing, testing, and installing electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, plus performance analyses and data reporting. Travel up to 70% and adherence to safety protocols are required.

The role covers teardown, refurbishment, overhauls, and installation activities, with strict safety and documentation standards throughout the job lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with formal technical training.
• Ability to pass a physical fitness evaluation with weight limits.
• NACI clearance eligibility and a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, tear down, repair and refurbish equipment.
• Assemble, test, and install electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Perform equipment performance analyses and data collection.
• Install equipment and modifications with required documentation.
• Conduct inspections and ensure FAA/FAALC standards compliance.
• Travel up to 70% and respond to emergency callouts as needed.
• Operate cranes, boom lifts, forklifts, and tower equipment.
• Maintain safety procedures and work at heights.
