Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, seeks Electronics/Engineering Technicians for on-site support at FAALC facilities. The role covers troubleshooting, repair, installation, calibration, and testing of electronic and mechanical systems in FAA and interagency environments.

Travel up to 70% is required, with strict safety and identification requirements. A valid driver’s license and physical fitness evaluation are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and an associate degree in electrical or engineering technology, OR completion of equivalent formal technical training.
• Physical fitness evaluation with weight restrictions (125–290 lbs).
• NACI Clearance - ability to obtain Public Trust.
• Estimated Monthly Travel required: 70%.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Two forms of unexpired identification (primary and secondary).

Responsibilities

• NAVAID antenna and component repair and overhaul.
• Rotary joint and drive motor troubleshooting and repair.
• Circuit board testing and repair.
• Production and repair of electrical cables and wire harnesses; performance analyses and reporting.
• Equipment installation and certification.
• Maintenance of NAS radomes and tower components.
• Climb towers and work at heights up to 750 feet; ensure safety compliance.
• Enter time in DCRS for billing.
