Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, is seeking electronics/engineering technicians to perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, calibration, and testing of FAA and interagency systems on-site. Roles involve climbing, lifting, and travel up to 70% with potential emergency call-outs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and an associate degree in electrical or engineering technology or equivalent training, plus the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and an associate degree in electrical or engineering technology, OR completion of equivalent formal technical training courses.
  • NACI Clearance - ability to obtain Public Trust.
  • Estimated Monthly Travel required for this position: 70%.

Responsibilities

  • NAVAID antenna and component repair and overhaul.
  • Rotary joint and drive motor troubleshooting and repair.
  • Circuit board testing and repair.
  • Production and repair of electronic cables and wire harnesses; information collection and reporting.
  • Performing equipment adjustment, testing, and certification.
  • Installation of equipment and components, and modifications.
  • Installation and maintenance of NAS Radomes.
  • Tower and structural inspections at heights; safety considerations and PPE compliance.
  • Enters time into DCRS daily to ensure timely billing of hours.
  • Travel up to 70% and potential emergency call-outs for corrective maintenance.
