Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Zero to two years of lab, testing, maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in engineering technology, mechanical, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hardware and tools.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and file management.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures in the test stand and perform 3-point bend and compression tests.
• Configure test software and ensure proper data export per instructions.
• Recognize data/output issues and escalate to the Quality Engineer as needed.
• Perform hardware fitment tests and follow non-mechanical test procedures.
• Create simple reports and maintain the test data catalog and raw data database.
• Follow standard work instructions for interfaces and maintain a clean, safe area.
