Job summary

First Financial Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Engineering Technician I to support the Utilities team. You will perform semi-skilled inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and life-safety systems to keep the venue safe and functional for events.

The role may include up to a 12-hour shift, with nights, holidays, and weekends. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in facility maintenance; strong communication and math skills are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (trade school or apprenticeship preferred).
• Two+ years of experience in commercial or facility maintenance.
• Strong communication and math skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, secure environment for clients and staff.
• Performs inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, safety and building systems.
• Operates Building Control Systems to manage space temperature and lighting.
• Lays out, installs, and removes temporary electrical, air, water, and gas services for events.
• Inputs data into department systems for documentation, billing, and reporting.
