What are we looking for?

The Engineering Technician is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project-specific observations, and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.

What you’ll do:

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (e.g., soil, concrete) and provide assessment of data through reporting.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Perform detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make discriminations in sound.
• Ability to kneel, squat, and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights.
• Ability to work overnight and off shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of construction materials/density testing experience.
• ACI certification or other construction-related certifications.
