Under general supervision, performs entrance-level professional civil engineering work in connection with surveying, designing, construction, and maintenance of Public Works projects and surface water and groundwater projects. Performs other work as required.

Essential Duties:Prepares property descriptions and drafts plats for annexations, public way openings and closing; Prepares descriptions both written and graphic for property to be deeded to the City; Drafts plans for public improvement districts; Prepares estimates; Calculates individual assessments; Performs research work in checking and verifying names establishing ownerships, assessed valuation and similar projects; Develops original base maps from recorded tract maps and field survey notes, data, and field survey information.
