Base pay range

$19.08/hr - $24.01/hr

Must Haves:

1. Experience assembling, disassembling, and servicing simple equipment or parts
2. Ability to perform repetitive work like cleaning, breaking down, and repairing simple instruments using hand or power tools
3. Comfortable interpreting technical drawings or diagrams for assembly and repair tasks
4. Ability to obtain USPS Public Trust clearance (5 years continuous residency in the US, pass federal background check)

Nice to Have:

1. Familiarity with USPS systems
2. Experience with package processing equipment or sorting machines
3. Background working on printers or doing basic repairs

Day to Day:

1. Assemble, disassemble, and service sorting machines, including constructing and repairing basic equipment or parts
2. Perform repetitive tasks like cleaning, breaking down, and maintaining equipment using hand or power tools
3. Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and repair of screening tech
4. Support the USPS consolidation (275 plants to 70 distribution systems) by prepping tech for 12 machines this year, 77 next year
