Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician-Electrician, supporting TOS II, at Tunnel 9 in White Oak, Maryland. The Engineering Technician- Electrician will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Perform the role of an Electrician responsible for the checkout and preparation of plant and test facility equipment. This includes installing and maintaining facility systems, performing maintenance and servicing to ensure operational readiness, troubleshooting electrical malfunctions, determining the condition of electrical equipment, and implementing necessary repairs. The work involves voltages ranging from 120V to 13kV, requiring a thorough knowledge of hand tools and advanced electrical test equipment. Must possess or be willing to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, including motors, motor control centers, generators, transformers, controllers, power circuit breakers, control input/output devices (such as switches, solenoids, potentiometers, and pushbutton stations), motor-operated valves, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, and other electrical systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
