Job summary

Chariot Defense Inc. seeks a motivated Engineering Technician to support assembly, testing, and basic prototyping of electrical, mechanical, and power electronic systems for integrated vehicle platforms. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet performance, endurance, and reliability goals in demanding environments.

This entry-level role offers fast-track internal growth, with on-site work at our San Bruno, CA shop and potential extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology or related field; BE/EE a plus.
• 1–2 years in technical, assembly, or shop role (internship ok).
• Basic 3D CAD skills and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Hands-on with oscilloscopes, HV probes, test equipment, and diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate energy storage, thermal solutions, power electronics, wiring and PCBs.
• Assemble hardware from prototypes to production units under guidance.
• Rapidly prototype builds, troubleshoot, and iterate with engineers.
• Prepare components for volume manufacturing and perform basic shop work.
• Occasionally assist with customer-facing hardware demonstrations.
