Cochran's Wentzville, Missouri location is seeking an Engineering Technician/ Construction Inspector to join our team.

Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of prior experience or general knowledge of standard construction practices. Prior experience is not mandatory, as we are willing to train on the job. The technician/inspector performs or assists in field tests and observations of construction materials, including concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregate, as well as storm and sanitary structures and pipe bedding procedures.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of prior experience preferred but not required
• ACI Concrete Field Testing-Grad I preferred
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
• Proficiency in operating handheld tablets or other technical devices
• Willingness to assist with any tasks assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in field environments in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
