Job summary

Fiber Dynamics, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support our engineering team in Wichita, Kansas. You will fabricate, maintain, and modify tooling and fixtures using RTM, VARTM and other processes, and assist in development of new products.

You will create CAD drawings, collect data, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with engineers to meet project deadlines. Strong AutoCAD skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD proficiency and use of design software.
• Strong math skills for calculations and measurements.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and data collection attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with the design and development of engineering projects using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Collect and analyze data to support engineering experiments and tests.
• Create detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment or systems as needed.
• Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
