Qualifications

• Requires two years of college; Grade-6 eligible with one year of college currently attending school.
• To be promoted to Grade-7, must complete two years of schooling as specified.
• Course requirements include engineering, math, physics, chemistry and drafting.
• Evidence of satisfactory completion of these courses and a C average in major courses required.
• Valid Driver's License with safe driving history per National Grid policy.
• Pass Field Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Research and compile information from various sources, make calculations and use in the preparation of all types of technical studies, research projects, reports, etc.
• Prepare and interpret statistical and graphical exhibits and other related material as required.
• Handle computer input material and processing activities.
• Review computer-generated output for required information and recommend revisions.
• Prepare and maintain records such as schedules, projects, drawing-status lists, data-on-equipment, etc.
• May utilize other personal-computer programs.
