Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking an Engineering Technician A to support testing and debugging of Line Replaceable Units and circuit card assemblies in a manufacturing setting. The role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Responsibilities include developing test procedures, performing test and debug operations, assisting with failure analysis, and maintaining test equipment on the production floor; candidates should have a High School Diploma and up to 3 years of

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of related experience.
  • 0-3 years of RF and digital signals experience preferred.
  • Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Engineer to develop and maintain test procedures.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis on failures.
  • Assist in component level debug on the product in test labs.
  • Provide input to develop and maintain Test Bill-of-Process and Work Instructions.
  • Participation in recurring engineering related Test Readiness Reviews.
  • Assist in maintaining Government/Customer Furnished Equipment.
  • Help manage tools and test equipment to support the production floor.
  • Assist with Test Machine Maintenance and repair.
  • Participate in Failure trend analysis.
  • Assist in Out-of-Tolerance reporting for test equipment.
