Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Engineering Technician 1 for 3rd shift at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This full-time position involves conducting environmental testing and ensuring test equipment maintenance.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and be capable of working in hazardous environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required. A Secret security clearance is also necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Experience with technical writing skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental testing as part of a team.
• Maintain and set up all instrumentation/test equipment.
• Monitor tests, record data, and perform compliance checks.
• Calibrate simulated environments accurately.
• Create documents regarding test failures and anomalies.
• Communicate with engineers and technicians to optimize processes.
