Role: Engineering Technician supporting development and production of infant care medical devices, including incubators and warmers.
Responsibilities: build and modify prototypes, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, conduct product testing, operate lab equipment, document findings, and support engineering teams during NPI phases.
Collaborates with systems, mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Requirements: Associate degree in Engineering or related technical field (or 5+ years relevant experience); hands-on experience with tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems; ability to read engineering drawings; strong problem-solving skills; onsite work in Waukesha, WI.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; experience in medical device or regulated environments; supporting prototypes, validation, or product launches; familiarity with calibration, root cause analysis, and LEAN methodologies.
