Job Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Power Solutions Department at our San Jose HQ. The role involves assisting in product development and testing, working cross-departmentally with R&D engineers and product managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform power supply testing, modifications, and system testing as instructed.
• Conduct reliability testing procedures for products.
• Operate testing equipment and oscilloscopes.
• Generate test reports documenting procedures, configurations, findings, waveforms, and results.
• Modify power supply products and perform soldering duties.
• Conduct thermal testing and operate thermal chambers.
• Follow instructions from PMs or engineers to complete assignments on schedule.

Qualifications

• AA in Engineering or equivalent; BS preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a test technician is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of electronic circuits, PC/server hardware, and operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and report generation.
• Knowledge of power supplies and testing processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes and soldering skills is a plus.
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for long periods, input data, and work with computers.
• Occasional bending, standing, and physical lifting up to 15 pounds.

Salary Range

$24.00 - $42.00/hr, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. Benefits and potential bonuses are included.
