Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) seeks an Engineering Technician to join our Design Engineering group in Greene, NY. You will provide engineering support, manage documentation, develop solutions, and assist with testing and fixtures in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

This in-person role offers a salary range of $65,440 to $83,895 per year, with relocation assistance possible and a broad benefits package including bonus, PTO, 401(k) match, and medical/dental/vision options.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as an engineering technician/engineering support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and maintain engineering documentation.
• Generate, review, and distribute technical data and reports.
• Support other engineering departments through product engineering, typically by gathering product specifications, assembling fixtures, and aiding in test set up.
• Perform repairs, fabrication, modifications, and installations of electrical wiring harnesses, cables, wires, wiring assemblies, fixtures, and associated components.
• Support engineering change requests and related activities.
• Additional engineering support as required.

The Role

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Engineering Technician to join our team. In this position, you will provide specialized engineering support within the Design Engineering group, performing a broad range of tasks such as managing engineering documentation, developing solutions to technical challenges, utilizing specialized engineering tools, and collaborating with dealers. You will also contribute to additional engineering support activities as needed to ensure efficient and effective operations, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing

• Receive, process, and maintain engineering documentation.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary - $65,440 - $83,895 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
