Job summary

Jobot is seeking candidates to perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms and inspect components after tests. You will use torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters, contributing to non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.

A background in aerospace testing and familiarity with related tools is preferred. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with a team across our space hardware division.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably in aerospace or engineering.
• Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools (torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, multimeters).
• Experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing (preferred).
• Experience in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.
• Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.
• Experience using electronics equipment (e.g. DMMs, power supplies, DAQs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion to ensure quality and project specifications.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize aerospace assembly and inspection tools (torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, multimeters).
• Assist in writing technical work instructions for Environmental Testing.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

1. Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration

4. Utilizing common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
5. Assisting in writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility for all team members.
6. Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications
