Job summary

Scotland Health Care System in Laurinburg, NC is seeking a full-time Plant Operations professional to oversee maintenance, comply with JCAHO/NFPA/state and local codes, and coordinate department operations. You will read blueprints, estimate costs, and perform preventive maintenance per the SAMM program.

The role includes completing service requests, attending meetings, and performing assigned tasks to keep facilities safe and functional for patient care.

• Expedites operations of department.
• Scheduling work priorities.
• Performing assigned work tasks.
• Completing service requests/preventive maintenance.
• Maintaining proper on-the-job conduct.
• Performing and completing special projects/assignments.
• Attending scheduled/required meetings.
• May read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer’s specifications.
• May estimate cost/purchase materials.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment (according to SAMM Program).
• Dismantles equipment and devices to clean, repair, and install new parts using various tools, ladders, etc.
• Completes Service Request forms upon completion of services and repairs.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
