About the Role:

This position is for an Engineering Technician who operates under moderate supervision. The role involves performing moderately complex technical tasks that contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. The technician confers with engineers regarding test procedures and results, and assists in orienting, training, and assigning work to technical/business support employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Engineering team
2. Assist hardware/software engineers with modifications
3. Support customer needs

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree with 1+ years of troubleshooting experience in electronics, hardware, and/or controls disciplines

-OR-

• High School Diploma with 3+ years of troubleshooting experience in electronics, hardware, and/or controls disciplines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of electronics
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and similar equipment
• Soldering and desoldering skills for both through-hole and SMT parts
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to follow and execute processes based on Standard Work Instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
