Job summary

LinkTech is seeking an Engineering Technician to directly build and integrate our production machines. You will own assigned subassemblies, follow engineering documentation, troubleshoot during integration, and deliver work that meets quality and production standards.

You will support the assembly of actuators, structures, fluid systems, harnesses, and other electro-mechanical assemblies, plus assist with debugging and testing of robotic subsystems.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and harness diagrams and translate into hands-on production builds.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Comfortable working with motors, actuators, sensors, PCBAs, and wiring.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced R&D environment where designs and priorities can change.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Proactive, dependable, and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
  • Willingness to learn on the job, ask questions, and apply feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Production Coordinator to reliably meet build timelines, production goals, and address change orders.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to bring prototypes to life, maintain hardware, and support field deployments.

Job description

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

  • Comfort working with or willingness to learn about motors, actuators, sensors, PCBAs, and wiring.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment where designs, priorities, and processes can change.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Proactive, dependable, and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
  • Comfortable switching between mechanical assembly, electrical work, and everything in between.
  • Willingness to learn on the job, ask questions, and receive and apply feedback.
Bonus Experience
  • Industrial crimping tools, D-sub, and circular connectors
  • Low-voltage electrical systems and safe troubleshooting
  • Pumps, valves, pneumatics, or other fluid systems
  • Basic Linux command line or Python
  • Prototype bring-up
  • Field deployments or hardware installation
  • Robotics, automation, manufacturing, or test environments
