Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) in Colorado seeks a hands-on Engineering Technician III to install, troubleshoot, and maintain two-way radio systems across fleet vehicles and heavy equipment. This contract long term role pays $50/hour on W2 and includes a company vehicle, tools, laptop, and training.

You will install Motorola and other radios, perform vehicle wiring, antenna installation, and mounting, and troubleshoot electrical issues while traveling throughout Colorado, including overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems and 12V/24V wiring.
• Experience wiring, installing and troubleshooting mobile radios and related equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with proficiency using hand tools.
• Willingness to travel throughout Colorado, including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Install Motorola and other commercial radios in vehicles
• Perform vehicle wiring, antenna installation, and equipment mounting
• Troubleshoot electrical and installation issues
• Remove/reinstall vehicle panels and interior components
• Work on trucks, heavy equipment, utility vehicles, and specialty fleet vehicles
• Manage service requests and complete field assignments independently

Required Skills

• Automotive electrical experience (12V/24V systems)
• Vehicle wiring and electrical troubleshooting
• Mobile electronics or equipment installation experience
• Mechanical aptitude and hand tool experience
• Ability to travel throughout Colorado, including overnight travel
