Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Engineering Technician for the Denver Metro Area. This on-site, permanent role focuses on laboratory testing and data processing within a respected, employee-owned engineering consultancy.

You will perform industry-standard lab tests, operate a nuclear densometer, process data, and present results to clients and staff. A High School Diploma and 5–9 years field/lab experience, plus relevant certifications, are required.

Responsibilities

• Performing laboratory tests as per industry standards and guidelines.

• Processing and analyzing test data using computer software and presenting results to stakeholders.
• Communicating test progress and results to clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
• Documenting work through accurate field notes and sketches.
• Observing field and construction activities and ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and staff.
• Working independently with minimal supervision and high responsibility.

• Observing field and construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and staff.
• Working independently with minimal supervision, while demonstrating a high level of responsibility and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 to 9 years of experience as a field and/or lab technician.
• Experience in field and construction observation is desirable.
• Current Nuclear Gage Safety and Transport Training.
• Current HAZWOPER certification, ACI & WAQTC Certification & Nuke Gage.
• The ability to produce accurate field notes and sketches to document work.
• A valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• A personable, flexible, and professional demeanor.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
