Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and installation of equipment on the Engineering Test floor in Dallas, TX. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing groups to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities include supporting software maintenance on testers, analyzing data to improve tool performance, and coordinating supplier service as needed.

• Provide customer service on the Engineering Test floor and resolve issues promptly.

• Prepare technical reports and recommend solutions to technical problems.

In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Working on High-end ATE testers systems and support equipment
• Will have primary role supporting software maintenance on testers
• Customer service supporting Engineering Test floor
• Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
• Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
• Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
