Job summary

Emerson seeks an Electronics Technician to support design and validation activities in a collaborative environment. You will create and maintain schematics, assemble prototypes, and perform troubleshooting across electromechanical systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with basic electronics tools, lab equipment, and data reporting. You will contribute to EMC, safety, and environmental testing setups while ensuring accurate documentation and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• AAS in Electronics Technician specialization or equivalent experience.
• Experience building, troubleshooting, and validating electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with electronics hardware and basic electronics tools.
• Experience using Microsoft Office365 suite.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Prototype assembly and troubleshooting
• Soldering rework on electronic assemblies
• Using basic electronic tools, including power sources, oscilloscopes and analyzers
• System setup and troubleshooting for EMC, Safety & Environmental testing
• Data generation and test report completion

For this Role, You Will Need:

• AAS in Electronics Technician Specialization or equivalent experience
• Experience building, troubleshooting, and validating electromechanical systems
• Familiarity with electronics hardware and basic electronics tools
• Experience using Microsoft Office365 suite

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience using LabVIEW for measurements and automation
• Experience testing for CE, Safety and Environmental certification
• Experience with test and measurement equipment calibration
