Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or related field.
  • Typically 6–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and implementation processes.
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex technical programs using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • PMP/PMI certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and leads a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a product or service offering.
  • Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.
  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to resolve escalated issues and ensure adherence to roadmaps and schedules.
  • Drives agile execution across multiple cross-functional engineering teams, aligning dependencies and release timelines.

Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. Work can involve external parties such as standards bodies, partners, etc. ***Management Level Definition:***Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives.
