Job summary

UCT in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Engineering Technician I to join our fast-growing team. You will support Technology Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, assisting with assembly, diagnostics, and testing of electro-mechanical sub-systems, and contribute to design/prototyping of tooling.

The role requires 4–6 years electro-mechanical experience in manufacturing, an AAS or higher, proficiency with SolidWorks/Pro-Engineer, and comfort creating assembly drawings and OMSs while applying GMP.

Qualifications

• AAS degree or higher in a technical field (Electronic/IT/Physics or equivalent).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college courses for engineering are a plus.
• 4–6 years electro-mechanical technician experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD tools and participation in design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop work instructions and OMSs for assembly technicians.
• Create accurate manufacturing drawings and BOMs from models.
• Support design reviews and provide clear engineering inputs.
• Assist in testing, diagnostics, and modification of prototypes.
• Apply GMP practices within assembly methods.
