Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company focused on orthopedics. We are hiring an Engineering Tech I to assist Product Development Engineers with design and development of Shoulder Arthroplasty products, including new development and maintenance of released products.

This role provides support through documentation management and related tasks, not a traditional engineering position. The candidate will support engineering teams, assist in prototype design and testing, create CAD models,

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in medical device or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with medical device design requirements preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering product development processes as assigned.
• Assist with prototype design under supervision.
• Assist in testing design prototypes and support R&D testing.
• Document development requests and project checklists for assigned projects to suppliers.
• Generate and maintain mechanical models and drawings using CAD programs.
• Support design changes to develop and improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Support QA, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Marketing and Product Management with technical information.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for prototype designs.
• Assist in creating, modifying, reviewing, and processing Engineering Change Orders.
• Report progress and status of assignments to supervisor.
