Job summary

EPITEC is seeking an Engineering Tech Analyst for a fully onsite role in Milford, MI. The position supports vehicle testing, prepares vehicles, and operates chassis dynamometer test sites to ensure accurate results.

The candidate should be hands-on, safety-conscious, and able to troubleshoot equipment and vehicle communications in a fast-paced testing environment with regular shift overlap and collaboration across the team.

Responsibilities

• Review test communications and complete the test request process.
• Prepare vehicles and install them on test sites.
• Operate and monitor chassis dyno testing equipment.
• Remove vehicles from test sites upon test completion.
• Investigate test setup, communication, and quality-related issues.
• Conduct safety observations and support corrective action activities.
• Perform quality audits and maintain standardized work documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Train team members and attend shift-overlap meetings.
• Communicate and upscale issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain safe, clean, and hazard-free test environments.

Expected hours per week: 40 hours

Schedule: Onsite

Pay Range: $29-32 an hour

Job Description:
The Engineer Tech Analyst supports vehicle testing by preparing vehicles, operating chassis dynamometer test sites, monitoring test activities, and troubleshooting equipment or vehicle communication issues. This is a hands-on, fully onsite role requiring strong technical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced testing environment.
