Job summary

Husky Technologies TM is seeking a Senior Design Lead to guide a design team through new product development. You will ensure adherence to the Product Development Process and Husky standards, estimate effort and cost, and secure on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering with strong leadership, DFMEA experience, and excellent communication. You will mentor engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality product

Qualifications

• University engineering degree or 5-10 years equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of engineering experience and leadership background.
• Strong knowledge of Husky design standards and product development process.
• Excellent communication, delegation and mentoring skills.
• Experience with DFMEA and risk management in design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team for new product development per defined processes.
• Oversee effort/cost estimation and on-time delivery to targets.
• Drive continuous improvement with metrics and root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and team development through coaching.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service and other functions for successful releases.
