Job summary

The City and County of Denver's Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is seeking an Engineering Supervisor within Right-of-Way Services (ROWS) to lead a high-performing team responsible for regulatory review, planning, and capital projects in the public right-of-way. You will mentor staff and ensure DOTI standards are met across multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture; PE license required by Colorado Board.
• Three years of senior engineering or architecture experience; Colorado registration or reciprocity acceptable.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain/maintain Colorado PE certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workload for 8–10 professional engineers with guidance and technical expertise.
• Develop goals, evaluate performance, and provide feedback and recognition.
• Assist staff in achieving performance standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Foster a customer-focused environment and continuous process improvement.
• Monitor team processes and keep stakeholders informed on deliverables.
• Develop data-driven performance metrics for management and executives.
