Job summary

City and County of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure seeks an Engineering Supervisor in the RIGHT-OF-WAY SERVICES division. You’ll lead a team of 8–10 engineers performing regulatory review for capital infrastructure projects within the public right-of-way.

The role requires a PE license, a Bachelor’s in engineering or architecture, and strong leadership with data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or architecture.
• PE license required by Colorado; state registration at completion of probation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage workload for 8 to 10 professional engineers.
• Develop goals, evaluate performance, and provide feedback.
• Mentor team members in best practices and professional development.
• Interpret and apply City rules and permitting requirements to projects.
• Develop data-driven performance metrics for management.
