Job summary

Peachtree Group Hospitality Management is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for the Courtyard in Pittsburg, CA. The role provides technical and administrative support to the Chief Engineer and assists in all operational aspects of the Engineering Department.

Key duties include overseeing maintenance of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and safety procedures; monitoring utility use; ensuring projects meet specs and deadlines; and maintaining logs, inventories, and workspace

Responsibilities

• Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
• Maintains maintenance issues across refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Monitors electric, gas and water consumption.
• Ensures projects are completed on time and to spec.
• Follows lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Performs guestroom and public area preventive maintenance.
• Performs maintenance checks and logs properly.
• Reports safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or the Manager on Duty immediately.
• Maintains inventories and ensures workspace cleanliness and order.
• Attends monthly staff meetings.
• Completes projects as determined by the Chief Engineer.
