Embassy Suites by Hilton West Palm Beach Central is seeking an Engineer Supervisor to lead the property's engineering team and ensure smooth operation of all systems. You will manage maintenance, coordinate repairs, and drive guest satisfaction through reliable service and safe practices.

The role emphasizes staff training, preventative maintenance, energy management, and quick response to guest requests, with on-site presence and weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in training, supervising, and motivating staff.
• Ability to evaluate and spot check work of staff and contractors.
• May be required to work weekends, holidays, and be available for emergencies.
• Comply with certification requirements (Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid).
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and ensuring guest bliss while keeping costs in check.
• Inspire, train, and schedule engineering crew; champion workplace safety through inspections, fire drills, and employee training.
• Maintain Preventative Maintenance program to keep guest rooms and public spaces up to standard.
• Manage energy usage and spending with a keen eye—stick to budgets, promote conservation, and make smart purchasing decisions.
• Respond to guestroom requests rapidly and serve as the emergency contact for unpredictable moments.
