Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Engineer Lead for Embassy Suites West Palm Beach. The role oversees daily maintenance operations, leads the engineering team, and ensures the property runs smoothly while delivering guest satisfaction.

The Lead Maintenance Engineer will tackle preventive maintenance, respond to guest requests, and manage safety initiatives on site. Strong leadership and hands-on skills are essential for this busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR required (property specific).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and handle financial information and basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance crew and assign projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to guest calls.
• Handle work orders and carpentry, painting, plumbing tasks.
• Lead safety initiatives to keep the property safe.
• Motivate and coordinate the engineering team.
• Respond to guest room fixes promptly.
• Maintain maintenance forms and records.
