The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking an Engineering Supervisor II (NS) to support the Location and Surveys Unit and lead geomatics initiatives across divisions.

The primary purpose of the Location and Surveys Unit is to provide statewide engineering and geomatics analysis in the development of transportation facilities and acquisition of property in accordance with the best professional engineering and surveying practices consistent with all laws and regulations governing the State Highway System.
The Location & Surveys Unit is looking for an Engineering Supervisor II to serve as an assistant to the Division Team Lead.
In this role you will:
Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC22 $75,925 to $148,054

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of engineering from an appropriately accredited institution and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience including two (2) years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
May require registration as a professional engineer by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
